Welcome to The 'New' Gin Mill!...The Reeder family has reinvented a classic Canton watering hole to a comfy, casual restaurant that excels in classic cocktails, fine wine, fantastic food and good ol' customer service. Located just outside historic Fells Point in Canton, our charming space just off the water is perfect for a relaxing evening. When planning your next party or business meeting, we also have space available for up to 200 people.
Our talented chefs are on site preparing Californian/Mediterranean Bistro cuisine. Chef Matthew Wertman is originally from Buffalo, NY. He spent most of the 90's in Salt Lake City, Utah mentoring w/various chefs at different restaurants. Eventually Matt ended up back in Buffalo, working at the acclaimed French restaurant Rue Franklin. Fortunately, he settled in Canton and brings years of experience to The Gin Mill. Chef Sunra Mack hails from great restaurants such as Four Seasons in D.C. and Pisces in the Hyatt at the Inner Harbor. Together, they are a great match, so stop by the kitchen window and say hello. Some of their great food, such as The Antipasto Board w/ Stuffed Banana Pepper or Mussels w/ Chorizo, White Wine and Herbs are highly recommended to get the evening going.
At your request, our wine experts are always available to educate you about wine and demonstrate wine tasting techniques. We also serve a selection of imported cheese w/accoutrement's.
